I work at night – and I am not (yet) they type of blogger who gets invited to (any) fashion shows, but that doesn’t mean I can’t fullfill theĀ promise I made to myself in February that this fashion week I would get involved some how!
I managed to attend two parties and throw my own – and while I have not done such a great job od outfit documenting I have managed to photograph my latest DIY project and my newest real life fashion icon – but I will save all that for the next post. On to the Fashion Week Highlights…
Thursday night was “Fashion Night Out” and I HAD to stop by Market Publique’s Pop-Up store and hang out with Pamela a bit before I had to run to work! I managed to take some photos (she sure knows how to display her items!) and purchase an awesome vintage doctors bag!

Monday was IFB’s Dress up Soiree at Easst Broadway Downtown. February’s event was AWESOME so I was so excited to go and this time not hide in a corner!

I wore a vintage 1970’s party dress (I failed to sell this baby at my last 2 trunk shows – and now it’s all mine!)
Urban Outfitters rose necklace
and my Jeffrey Campbell Posh 2 heels that I splurged on last month. They are the most comfortable heels I have ever worn and even lasted me through the entire IFB panel!
Tuesday was Pop-Up Vintage’s 3rd trunk show hosted by ME in honor of fashion week. I was excited for this event because I decided to incorporate some live music into the event. I had the group that I sing with (Terminal City) and after us was Noxious Foxes

Over all it was a successful night and I look forward to planning the next one!
I wore a vintage dress from Market Publique
and Chinese Laundry Over the Knee Boots!

How were we in the same place twice in one week and we didn’t meet? Ahhh! I was at the Market Publique thing too, but came by later in the night with Jennine. Maybe next time? I live in NYC now, BTW!
