I am over the cold weather. Over it. January and February are hard months in NYC – they are cold, gray, and by 4:30pm its dark outside. Lame. I am jealous of all the bloggers out there in warm beautiful California I am longing for Spring.
To hold myself over for the next 2 months I decided to make my Spring Wishlist as of Jan ‘10. (I know myself well enough to know that this list will change 5 times over by the time the temperatures actually start to go up.)

1. American Apparel Gray Hoodie: I have this in black and it’s been my go-to piece of layering since I picked it up in October. I’ve decided the gray one would be perfect for layering under blazers and jackets as it gets warmer.
2. Chanel Bag: I have been lusting over a Chanel bag for a few years now. While I have 8 different vintage ones currently on my eBay watch list – I’ve wanted this red vintage backpack since I saw it on a Who What Wear post some months back.
3. Sequins on T-shirts: While my friend recently told me that sequins are not meant to be worn causually I beg to differ. I want nothing but sequins on white t-shirts. I love the butterfly top.
4. American Apparel Deep V-Necks: I need a black one. They are comfortable and versatile.
5. Bentley Over The Knee Boots: Check out the studs, and the soft gray suede- LOVE THEM
6. Black Denim Shorts: I love these Erin Wasson shorts and I have been wearing a lot of tights/shorts- comfortable and fashionable.
7. Boyfriend Jeans: I still don’t have any- so I need some obviously
8. Studded Jeffrey Campbell Boots: I’m obessed with these and am hoping they magically just appear in my closet.
9. Girly Man shoes: I want these – but am still undecided as to if I can pull them off or not. Stay tuned.
10. Leather Bomber with fur: In brown please, thanks.
11. Cute flats: A couple pairs, in different colors.
What’s on your wish list?

#3 — your friend does or doesn’t realize this is a major trend? Is the friend complaining ABOUT the trend as something s/he finds irksome? I’m curious…
She’s not into trends so she doesn’t recognize or care that it is one. She just sees sequins as only something you wear when you dress up. I guess it’s just as narrow as that – although I do feel that if she saw a celebrity in a casual outfit that included sequins she would change her mind.
